This is a concept I realized for a cyber-techno-punk story, where mankind relies heavily on technological implants to evolve. Nothing previously unheard of, but I liked the Giger-ish atmosphere.
This is The Reading Princess, my latest work. I painted this starting with color and not greyscale as usual. If you have any questions or comments please let me know!
This time I’ve realized something a little different and with a little more narrative than what I usually do. I put this painting into the Characters section, even though this is clearly an illustration and not a character design.

My new painting. Again, I’ve been experimenting with the mixer brush presets made by Eldar Zakirov. The more I use them the more I like the amazing traditional oil painting effect they give! Give it a try if you are into digital painting, you won’t be disappointed.

My new work! I did another female character. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of character design. I’m trying to get better in adding details while keeping things as painterly as possibile. I always paint trying to avoid the “digital effect”. Of course there are many great artists out there who can do amazing stuff still looking digital, but personally I love traditional oil painting and I try to convey the same feeling in my digital paintings. I’ve still a long road ahead, though!

I’ve always been fascinated by mermaids. This time I wanted to realize one slightly different from the usual fish-tailed mermaid. If you have questions about how I realize my paintings don’t hesitate to ask!
You can find a bigger resolution image in the Characters page, as usual!
Thank you all!
A flock of Harpies. In Greek and Roman mythology they were thought to bring storms and punish evil men. Of course they were supposed to be a lot uglier than this but I took some liberties and made them a little prettier. This illustration is available for printing, if you want to take a closer look go to the Characters page!
